Diversity Training

Over a two year period, we designed and ran over 130 diversity workshops for the client (covering each of the units). This has focused on translating awareness into tangible objectives – both organisational and in supporting individual behavioural change. The programme has been very well-received and is considered to be a leading example of such work for the Civil Service as a whole.

Prior to this workshop programme, we carried out a major audit in 1998, looking at why women and black and ethnic minority employees were not breaking into the senior management positions. Called "Succeeding in the Civil Service – a question of culture", it was used a major plank in the development of diversity across the Civil Service as a whole.
