Inclusion & Cultural Change In A Globalising Company

The company is a global consumer packaging company, and a relative newcomer to the FTSE 100.

It has steadily grown with a series of acquisitions that have met or exceeded City expectations. The company wanted to build “one culture” and to complement the focus on short term performance with a set of longer term values. These are: Continuous Improvement, Trust, Teamwork and Recognition. We ran a series of focus groups across many different countries to inform the development of the values.

Since then, we have helped them start to embed Diversity and Inclusion into this evolving culture. This has involved working with an overall Steering Group, led by the HR Director, and with each of the sector leadership top teams.

Over the years, our work with the company has meant working in many different countries and, indeed languages. In France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, the US, and, of course, the UK.
