2 New Members Join The GDN - Apr 2007
We are very happy to announce that two new members have joined the GDN - BT Group and PepsiCo International.
PepsiCo International: The organisation covers all geographies outside North America and has a workforce of ca 90,000. Magda Nowak (Director, Organisation Capability) is the global head. We will be particularly interested in hearing more about the ways in which diverse Inclusion are being linked to business performance at PepsiCo. Key linkages are being made to Innovation, Insights, Collaboration and the War for Talent.
BT Group: This telecommunications giant employs over 100,000 people and operates globally with employees in over 50 countries. The new chairman of BT has publicly announced his aim for BT to be one of the top three telecoms groups in the world by 2010. Caroline Waters (Director, People & Policy) will be our Global Head for the GDN. With increasing focus among some members on retention through flexible work arrangements we think BT’s strong track record in this area will be just one of the areas where they will bring good value to the network.
Schneider-Ross and the Advisory Board will continue to look for strong new members to bring onboard while keeping in mind the unique character which a relatively small size brings to the network.
